Statement:
New series of works from Yelena York with her known Freehand pointillism technique mixing ink and acrylic paint on paper, she is taking us back to her earlier pieces with more attention put into colors and patterns.

York always had a fascination towards knives, daggers and all kinds of antique weapons with gold and hand engraved patterns, which she calls “Art Pieces”, and her love for Circus is the main part why she chooses these objects and animals for her new series. Being a master in her style and technique, York brings back a collection of strong pieces, where each has its own story and character. As hard as it is to mix war period armory patterns with circus objects and animals, she sticks to her concept vision to complete the collection. York gives all in. While working on each piece, you can feel the love and dedication put into her creations through the great attention to these attractive details.
